Our Icelandic sheepskin rugs are probably the best sheepskin rugs you can buy. Each rug is a combination of a dense shorter length wool combined with a very long (4"-8", 10-20cm) main coat. The processes used for tanning comply with all European directives to ensure the protection and preservation of the environment. Because of the harsh environment in which Icelandic sheep live, you can be certain that their fleece will be the warmest available; soft, fluffy and long. 

Compared to the more common sheepskin rug that you will see for sale, the Icelandic sheepskins are far less common, and in great demand both for furnishings, and fashion, and so we are only able to obtain a limited amount.

Please remember that these are totally natural products and as such the shape, size and colouring can vary between rugs. This is particularly true with the mixed coloured options.
